Our Sneak Preview Sim of the All-Star Game

Who will win this year's All-Star Game on July 15 at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati? The American League enters with a two-game winning streak and has taken 13 of the last 17 contests dating back to 1997, including one tie. However, the senior circuit, as the National League is affectionately known, still leads the all-time series, 43-40-2.

We set up both teams in OOTP 16 and simmed the game. Find out what happened on our blog.

OOTP 16's 6th Update is Out

We've been hard at work on OOTP 16 since its release in March, and we recently issued its sixth update during that time. A post on our forum lists the more than 20 improvements and fixes. If you bought the game from us, you can download the new version from the links in that forum post, or from our site. If you bought it from Steam or the Mac App Store, you'll need to update it there.

Minor Leaguer Travis Weaver: 'OOTP Blows the Competition Out of the Water'

Minor league baseball player Travis Weaver has been playing baseball since he was four years old and has been immersed in baseball management games nearly as long, so he knows what he prefers in such software. When he discovered Out of the Park Baseball last year, he said that he decided "it's the only game that I will play now." Read more on our blog.

Tales From the OOTP Multi-Verse: Bo Jackson and What Could Have Been

Bo knew a lot during his days as a professional athlete, but, sadly, one thing he never knew was a long baseball career. What if the awful injury he suffered while playing football had never happened and he was able to see if his baseball talents could reach their potential?

That was the question we asked when we rewound OOTP 16 to 1986 and simmed Bo Jackson's career five times. The results were intriguing, as you'll learn on our blog.

Join Our Team and Work On Our Next Amazing Game

Our long-time fans know that Beyond the Sideline Football is the next game in our sports sim pipeline. However, the game's lead developer, Francis Cole, has encountered an unfortunate health situation, and we would like to bring a second programmer on board to take the reins in his absence. If you think you might fit the bill, check out the job opening on our forum.

Enjoy the All-Star Game!
